The difference is hardly felt, except with significant weight differences, and even then, barely felt.

yes but for the bullet to come out, the powder needs to push out the bullet thus if it is heavier, then it would be harder to push out which knocks more kinetic energy towards your own self.

The real power behind a bullet's energy isn't the weight or size of the projectile, but the powder charge behind it. While bullet weight and size are factors, they are minor ones.
The recoil depends ...
The recoil depends on the bullet's weight. There are different weighted bullets for example a 9mm. I've shot real guns before and i've seen a S&W 500 go off. I think i know what i am talking about. Google it if you want to find out how bullets effect the recoil.

The recoil is going to be the same regardless of bullet weight. And the 5.56 is very manageable, I've seen children handle it with ease. I think they were just instructed on the proper stance for recoil mitigation.
