I could come back with a reply that you obviously didn't go overseas and serve or see anything really, but to me it doesn't really matter. It just doesn't, what matters at least to me and many others is the continuation of the life we have enjoyed. The one of freedom, as simplistic as it sounds...it really isn't and it doesn't mean I believe this war was necessary for it. What matters is that we all do something instead of just standing by and complaining of what should be done.

No. My point isn't anything to do with whether anyone supports the government. It's about not bashing the people that are fighting for us no matter who is controlling them. It isn't their fault and they fight with us in mind, not the government. That's what I've been trying to say.

One can hardly expect one person's view during a deployment to be wide enough to know the reasons for everything he's being ordered to do. Did you expect to see a big pile of bombs somewhere and go "Oh. So that's why we're here."? Also,while my opinion is limited by what information is available to the public here in the states, I haven't seen true genocide anywhere. I've seen known terrorist gatherings destroyed, but I've yet to see evidence of any major civilian casualties.

Would our founding fathers have agreed with this? ask yourself that. Not me or anybody else, ask yourself. Don't get it twisted, I and many other veterans support our veteran brothers but many of us don't support the governments actions. This means the troops need your support to stop what is wrong and defend what is right.
