If you look at the SSMES as a complete assembly that includes the fuel and the engines at T = 0, liftoff, you have a combined mass or weight of approximately LOXH + Tank = 1,680,000 lbs + SSMEs 3 x 7,000( 21,000 )lbs = 1.68E6 + .021E6 = 1.7E6 lbs at Liftoff. Does anybody have thrust values for the SSMEs at liftoff? Let's say the combined thrust = 1.0E6 lbs but that means at liftoff the SSME assembly is___well you know.

Dude, it isn't hard to start a moon ecosystem. Send some astronauts with engineers, architects and the materials to build a pressure chamber that would make their area airtight and release pressure so they don't need pressure suits. Add soil to the moon soil, plant some grass as fertilizer. Add fruit trees for oxygen, food. Bring in farm animals for meat, they'd eat the grass. Set up a lake, it would create atmosphere. Money restricts this, I'd totally live on the moon if I had the chance.
