From the original film you see that the programs that were written looked exactly like their creators. Ram, Tron, Sark, Clu etc. At the end of the first film, Flynn steps off the chopper with the line 'Greetings, programs!' And it's been a long time in the real world. Who knows what Flynn told them, but to nickname them after their program-personas isn't such a strange thing.

When are they going to make the third Tron movie in another two decades? Two hundred million flushed on John Carter a film they hoped could be a franchise when they've already got an established one that could be as successful as The Avengers. It's as if Disney don't want to rule the world and skull fuck our young.

Yes, this is real. They weren't able to release it when Tron:Legacy hit theaters, so they put it on the home video (DVD & BluRay) releases. I bet that TRON 3 won't even hit theaters until 2014 or 2015. Why? Because Garrett Hedlund is signed to star in a Warner Bros. adaption of the anime cartoon AKIRA first, and WB is having some budget and production troubles with that. Personally, I'd rather watch the original AKIRA anime and look forward to seeing Garrett in TR3N.

On the BluRay Second Sight feature, it actually lists all the programs on the Grid that Sam is copying, such as Castor.exe, and the like. It's a pretty cool feature.
