What happened to mature music? Sax, piano, synth, bluesy-esque guitar lyrics etc..80's had it in spades. Roxy Music, Police, Glenn Frey, Don Henley etc..The list carries on and on. Even flat out synth or dance such as Erasure and Pet Shop Boys had that maturity. Where is it today? Coldplay? No effin way.
