There is always a slight chance something could happen and your natural nail will become exposed to the liquid or oil. It is however ok if you want to wear it for a day or 2 then remove it. I personally would not wear them any longer than that if I had any type of liquid in there. But that is just me. Have a wonderful day :)

hmmmm alcohol evaporates quickly.... so i'm not to sure about that. There is still a chance of a fungi if anything was to happen and it leaked out onto your nail and was trapped. So i don't think it would be safe. But times are changing :0) If you wanted to just wear it for one day and then take it off, I think then it would be fine using water, alcohol, mineral oil etc.... ok so ive seen many videos on aquarium nails n ive nvr seen any that have rubbing alcohol in them wouldnt that be a great idea because bacteria will not grow in it or with it n it still gives the movement?!? what do u guys think?

Ok, I'm a trained OPI nail tech and that discoloration that is under the nails from water is NOT a fungus! It is a type of water mold because the moisture cannot evaporate.
