i love dubai, and these project are truly amazing especially that im an architect student so i am pretty amazed..but yeah i think that dubai employment policy is like slavery but with a modern and legal twist..they hire people from 2nd or 3rd world country..and then once its done...your good to go, some stay but after that you just have to go on your own

@Missdanyaify I think we feel less culpable because we export that malfeasance to countries and let their own people do it to themselves. Whereas in Dubai (Kuwait too), they sell dreams of financial freedom and hope to Philippines, Ethiopia, India, etc...and then basically enslave or abuse the poor and often times make them more destitute. well it is simple supply and demand, there is a surplus of workers which drives down wages. If wages were to be moved up then companies would cut cost, most likely in labor. So I guess which is better, playing lots of people poorly or paying some of those people better.
