The horn section ...
The horn section came out to my brother's house for a pre gig bbq on my 18th b'day in Seattle. They were playing at the Aqaurius Tavern on Hwy 99 in N. Seattle. I was on my way to my final high school band concert and was too young to get into the club. My brother, Kell Houston had met Mic and played on "Back To Oakland". All I can say is that was one hell of a B'day party. Got to assist Alan Chainowsky mix a couple of years later at same club. Taught me some rightious lessons on how to mix. Thx

This must be the hardest working band on the planet...They have toured constantly in 40+ years..all over the f..planet..in the smallest places..i remember in early 90s.. i was out on the town in a little town on the westcoast of Norway..and i visit on of the local hotels..Who is playing tonight? Its Tower Of Power...I couldnt believe my eyes and my ears..what a band!

I was born in the late 60's,a kid of the 70's& a child of the 80's.I aways wished I born earlier ,I could've been a part of all that funk.TOP w/ Lenny Williams,PF, Bohanon, LG, Br's J, EW&F, GC, Sly Stone and all the funk bands. U know who their are.They knew how lay it down hot and pick it up slow.The kids of today should listen and learn Biggie,Tupac, Lil Wyane,Snoop Dogg &'nem got their funk from the MASTERS!!! It ain't NEW it's just warmed over.

You have not ...
You have not experienced all life has to offer if you had not seen TOP live. They are legendary. The zipper heads in the bogus rock hall fame induction group have negated their accreditation simply because lesser artists are in there and legends like TOP are ignored

Tower Power was one of the greatest bands in the 70s and today. They should have had more recognition. I love these guys they are bad!!!
