Opens some new appreciations, but many times the words Darling spoke did not match the visuals, and seemed more like talking points. One example, Warhol's "Troy," where Darling "reads" that the image seems to be wearing out, an attribute of contemporary media. Unfortunately, the section he points to is in the middle, not at the end; so "wearing out" is a talking point being forced into the work. Happens too often these days, where words supersede the visual.

Loved the Cornell ...
Loved the Cornell exhibit and saw his work in a very different way then I have before.
