Commander Shepard ...
Commander Shepard has been recoverd...(wait wrong franchise)... Adam Jensen has being recoverd the Lazerus Project will begin as planned
still i like both ...
still i like both their charcters both seem to me to be true honset men who sometimes may make mistakes but learn from them :)
there was a reason ...
there was a reason why he kept Jensen alive, he had that special DNA, didn't he? Though I don't think Sarif wanted to lose Jensen either way.
A true masterpiece!
A true masterpiece!
love it hope this ...
love it hope this sort of stuff can be done in the future 2012 now game set 2027 not to long now also i liked the charcter of David Sarif i mean what a guy one of his guys is nearly killed and he spends all the money and equipment saving him what a guy also Adam Jensen one of the best charcters i have played as this past few years :)
Bullshit. Its ...
Bullshit. Its complete different Shell Innocence Opening: creation of a Cyborg with religious-sounding music. They admire the technology Deus Ex 3 Opening: emergency surgery with more dramatic orchestral music
Ghost in Shell ...
Ghost in Shell Innocence copy,
he never asked for ...
he never asked for this, but in the end he need it!
I thought the ...
I thought the ending was okay. Jensens monologues were pretty thought-provoking and well-written.
i noticed that HR ...
i noticed that HR is full of symbolism like this, you saw the trailer for example? there at the beginning you see a short clip of Icarus flying to the sky and getting his wax wings melted and he starts falling, but at the end of the trailer you see a pilot flying a fighter plane probably, while flying higher and higher, without the plane's wings "melting". They wanted to show how much humanity advanced. In that sequence too probably they meant to tell us the reason Adam fights for.
I think I read ...
I think I read somewhere that it was a reference to the game being set in a Golden Age
HR was a ...
HR was a masterpiece, right up until the ending. I would have gladly accepted a later release date if it meant that the ending wasn't rushed.
I don't know if I'd ...
I don't know if I'd disagree but my comment is about what's in this video, the reconstruction part, which is similar to ME2's... I don't think I would compare completely different parts of two different games. Though I'm new to Deus Ex too.
A little, although ...
A little, although I thought ME2's actual intro (seeing the normandy destroyed/Shepard suffocating in space) was more emotional. But I'm new to this series, so maybe that's just me.
Like I said, both ...
Like I said, both are really good. And no, I didn't take it the wrong way.
it also shows the ...
it also shows the things people who know him are saying and thinking, gets me more involved. Although it would be harder to show Shepard's intimate emotions such as the love that is shown here because he/she is a different and little more "blank slate" character, as details like this of his/her life depends on player input (and I love that). I'm just trying to explain why I made the comment, not trying to invalidate your opinion or anything, don't take it the wrong way :)
You'd think it ...
You'd think it would work that way (and I'm way more attached to my Shepard) but I don't think it did. They can't show his/her face in ME because that's up to each player, and each Shepard lived differently, but they still could have shown past memories that all Shepards went through. Ultimately this is more emotional because it shows someone going through memories and emotions of his own, which ME doesn't, not to mention the music and graphics show his vulnerability better. It's my opinion tho.
sorry but you are ...
sorry but you are wrong! the first is a simple scene where you can see inside adam, the heart and other organs are normal, i mean not artificial, the second is the scene where you can see the torax augmenteted....and the Megans' sentences are only included to symbolize their love story
Most epic part is ...
Most epic part is at 1:13
ME2 doesn't show ...
ME2 doesn't show the main character's body undergoing surgery, but that is because you can be either male or female. Both openings are good.
No, I'd say the ...
No, I'd say the ME2 opening was more emotional because that was a character who you've played as for an entire game. Both are really good though.
The story might ...
The story might have fallen short. But the art style, the music, and the overall atmosphere are what made the game. Besides, this is a prequel to the Original Deus Ex so you can't really have anything huge that could potentially defy canon. You are looking for the wrong things, Mass Effect 2 was focused on the Characters which were some of the most memorable in the history of gaming, and HR was focused on atmosphere. Both games resurfaced elements that have been absent from far too many games.
BTW, its fine if ...
BTW, its fine if you like it - taste is subjective and I'm certainly not criticising yours!
