I want to add something : Because 5D Mark 2 is a full frame, the bokeh is more beautiful compare to t2i. Eventhough you can use some bokeh lense like 50mm 1.8 for the t2i, you will still got a better bokeh with 5D mk 2. And also again, because 5d is full frame, which tell that you will get a wider shot, so it's useful if you're taking a wide angle shot for video :) And also as Dave already said, you can punch up the ISO to 6400 and still got a very low noise,also because the full frame censor XD

I think it was a great comparison, they are two different animals and that is why it was good to see them side by side, and why I ultimately decided I could get good enough results with a T2i/T3i and bought a T3i to get started with.

Your right that the T2i is a really good camera I own one myself. If I could I would splurg for the 5D because it is a full frame sensor camera, bigger and heavier for added stability in shots, and better in low light situations. Don't get me wrong though I love my T2i very much and its a great camera nonetheless. I think the biggest plus for the 5D is when it comes to video, a lot of filmmakers use it because of the noise reduction when it comes to low lighting.

Listen, you never get what you pay for. If you did the company you bought it from would go out of business. Yeah there is a quality difference. There should be, but it is not just image quality. It's the build, the frame, the seals, the difference between pro and consumer.

The 5D mark II is absolutely gorgeous in my opinion. The detail is very good for DSLR.

You're welcome, the fixed aperture on the Tokina is a really great feature. I'd recommend using Sony Vegas Pro for video editing or Adobe Premiere Pro. Then you can use the add-on Magic Bullet Looks, to color grade the videoes.
