Спасибо огромное ...

Спасибо огромное Валентина за Ваш талант!!! Вы прекрасны!!!

For all the people ...

For all the people saying its so too bland and and "loud" and whatever, I'm not sure what you think the ocean is like, but generally its blue everywhere and holds a lot of power... This is how this piece is meant to be played. For those of you who are saying it isn't, you clearly don't play piano, and never will be able to.

I'm so glad someone ...

I'm so glad someone else had the same reaction I did to this. The beauty of Chopin is how he wrote to provide contrast and transition from loud to soft, heavy to light, etc. Her dynamic range is narrow, she plays almost completely ponderously instead of varying the weight of touch, and she seems to interpret at most a handful of measures together in her phrasing (rather than the piece as a whole). To me this had barely any emotional impact.

Does anybody have ...

When I first heard ...

When I first heard this I thought "Wow, she's very talented to be able to do this". I found myself returning to it that very day. THEN when I heard it, I FELT IT. Didn't think about how it was happening, just got wrapped up in it. It sent shivers down my spine, a mixture of sadness and happiness, struggle and hope. Imagine making someone feel that way without saying a spoken word or or having any personal contact with them. Purely aural. Incredible. This is music at it's most powerful to me.

I love Lisitsa and ...

I love Lisitsa and I love Bosendorfer; together, absolutely amazing. I don't know whether or not this DVD track is of her playing all 24 in concert, but she seems exhausted (not smiling like she does in Op. 10 No. 5). Bravo!!!
