what are you talking about?! Of course, some covers can be just as good, or SOMETIMES even better than the original. It only depends on how talented the artists are, and nothing else. I just listened to the awful SOAD cover, and it's total garbage, but it doesn't automatically mean that all covers are bound to be inferior.
