Daisuke is an artist who is also very skilled...the Styalist of styalists imho. I like Patrick Chan too, but for style, he has far to go to match Takahashi.

I believe that both of them are excellent skaters, but in the different area. Chan excels in SS, but Dai excels in expression.

I LOVE THIS! ^_^ Daisuke is honestly my favorite male skater out there. His footwork and artistry are just incredible.. I'm captivated. =D Actually, by the end of this SP, I literally said to myself, "Woah, wait! Where were the jumps??" because I didn't even notice them! Not because they weren't beautifully skillful, but because they blended so well with the character of the rest of the dance, and I wasn't just sitting there anticipating one jump after another. Gah! It's so beautifullll! ♥

And I'd like to say I find it very sad that just because you didn't agrre with my first comment so many of you disliked that it got removed. And the same thing will probably happen with my new comment. Sad. It a shame we can't share our opinions without that happening. Daisuke is amazing and so is Patrick Chan. It will be great to watch them compete this season!

Daisuke is amazing! His skates are magical. The reason I feel Patrick Chan is better is because in April 2011, he set a new world record of 93.02 points for the short program. He then set a new world record for his free skate, receiving an overall score of 280.98.Chan was crowned World Champion in Moscow on April 28, 2011. Many wonderful skaters out there. My favourites from Europe- Ilia Kulik, Evgeni Plushenko.

Just seen it on tv here in Europe. Everything falls together to make this a hauntigly beautiful program. I've always liked Takahashi, but the quality of his interpretation has really reached new heights over the last couple of years and this is a great illustration of this
