Did I ever claim to "know" that? No. I stated that it was LIKELY. And that is a fact. 95% of births in hospitals are intervened. C-section rate about 30%. At home, 95% are completely safe and natural. Only a VERY small percentage have to be transferred to a care center.

No, I was born 3 months early, being at home would've meant that my life lasted about 6min. Doctors restarted my heart three times. Spent 3 months in the hospital after I was born.

It's likely that the "many doctors and pinging machines" actually CAUSED the reason for the c-section and the fact that you thought you would have died. So if it had been at home in the first place, you'd have been fine :)

I agree. Too many expectant mothers think somehow they don't have to take care of themselves by doing the small stuff: good nutrition, exercise, etc. However, in the hospital, you're on the doctors clock and if it's going too slow for him, he'll make it happen how he wants it, no matter how much preparation was put into it on the mother's part.

Yes tell me about it, the overtechnoligization (if I can coin that) of birth is truly horrible but it wouldn't be that way if women didn't live sedentary and unhealthy lives to the point that they were too out of shape to give birth normally
