ed's doing fine. but the show has gone a completely different direction. they thrived on being a series that had no real focus. but now every episode is centered on what's going to happen in terms of management and its getting redundant and boring as hell. and when you have this real strict focus, it takes away from the humor. its not that i can't handle change. if we lost anyone but carell i'd be fine but he was the entire show for eight years.

My roommate loves this show and i think it's driving me mad. I don't know which tortures me more, the obnoxious unlikeable people, the submissive or monster like women. NO!!! What drives me mad is the fake innocence and high school level love lives these people lead. I don't think I ever hated, until The Office characters were given life.
