This process would be more for chroming Engine Parts and Trim. Not so much on wheels. Machine Factory made chrome is WAY better. But if you don't have the $. Go for it!

chrome spray system iv been looking for that whats it called becuase all i find on the internet is small 400ml cans but i want the real spray wer there is a chemical reaction after you spray it on the body can you help?

I know it takes time, but so does foreplay dude and there's still some fun in that. :) I had a chrome spray system about 3 years ago but it did my head right in, that took time as far as i was concerned! Gonna be chroming my own Porsche Cup 1 or 3 whatever the f*ck they are wheels soon and will be filming the stages & uploading that to show the results, I'm filming other bits like monkey metal repairing & stuff ('propsing' myself up now.....)

if you're in ...

if you're in England with all the salt they use on the road in the winter then forget about it. The question i ask is why everyone is so obsessed with finding an alternative to real chrome. I chrome them, I'm not advertising because I'm too busy. i've also own one of these spray on chrome systems and they're good for wood and ceramics and all the other stuff it's hard to plate. Alloy wheels are alloy aluminium which is metal, which can be electroplated!!

Look let me put it straight, this is not chrome so will not react like chrome. It shines but not like chrome, it is silver that's how you get it shiny. It does not go on as thick as traditional chrome. This is due to the reason that if you were to chrome plate wheels you would heavy copper plate first then nickel and then chrome. This spray on chrome will only last as well as standard chrome does, it all depends on how you look after them and the predominant weather of your location........

duh, of coarse it will flake, but if you had a brain you might think "How about I clear coat over the top?" you know- like a normal person? Ir just to REALLy shake things up a bit, how bout you get your rims PROPERLY CHROMED?
