This fixed lens 3D ...
This fixed lens 3D camera has a sweetspot of about 10-25 ft. Anything closer or further away and you've got problems. Then the lenses and other functions can be problematic as well and very limited. We've seen a lot of unusable 3D shot with these fixed lens cameras.

uM...yeah, thats ...
uM...yeah, thats what I was asking, wasn't it? I have gone to best buy and got a best headache trying to watch the 3d tv.
oh, "Jedi", are ...
oh, "Jedi", are you still in the red and blue glasses era??? LOL FYI, this is real 3D, you should read more about it or even better experience yourself at any best buy. Your argument regarding the lenses are too close is flawed, do not compare a human eye with the optics inside a camcorder. The physics is the same, but the scale is way different.
so.... how does it ...
so.... how does it look like on a 2d tv? do you need red and blue glasses? I don't see how slapping this silencer looking thing will work if it is only a pair or lenses. They cannot possibly produce the 3d effect people experience as they are too close together. Just another 'buy my junk' gimmick.

The main problem of ...
The main problem of this camera is that zoom cannot be used in 3D.... !! So forget about it ! I don't know yet if zoom works in 3d with the new vc-gs-td1 beu JVC.

I dont get it with these corders.... if you record a 2D video and put it on youtube , theres actually an option to instantly convert it to 3D viewing mode. whats the point in recording it in 3D first for 1400$ when you could just wait and convert it!? LIKE PL34Z3

I've watched a bunch of these reviews and clips, and not one has said anything about the built in 5.1 sound. All the other camera's I've seen you need an attachment for it, if at all. My question, is how does it sound, they won't give the bit rate in the specs, anywhere. That's about the only thing stopping me from buying this.

Don't waste your ...
Don't waste your money on this camera or the other camcorders out there. In the next couple years Real D will come out with a smaller cheaper camera. Hang in there. Also there are better options any way. I have the Canon 550D or better known Rebel T2i. I have on this camera the Loreo 3D Stereo Lens and it looks just as good as any of the higher priced cams. Also it cost me $124.00 and then around $1000.00 for my 550D rig. Use cheaper cameras, they are just as good right now.

I wish they would ...
I wish they would get one thing right before they move on. Digital has a look, it was interseting in 28 days later. Now its done It dont track movement right. Simple snow in a episode of Ice Truckers is strobed and rapid movement like Britains Deadset is a mess. Everyone always looks pale, though I know they can post process it better. Id rather see a movie done on film & record my home videos with my 90's gear. until they get digital right, screw 3d
