SYNOPSIS: Waiting for battle, Noah plants the crops of an evacuated French farmer. Noah's love for the land and farming overshadow his obligations as a soldier. I actually didn't like this show as a kid, my dad loved it though. I was probably too little, I was only like 5 when it was on. However, my dad also had a 30 caliber M-1 carbine, I loved shooting that thing.

When I was a lil kid when the show was being run realtime on TV I didn't like Sgt Saunders. Just thought he was to mean. I liked Hanley better. But loved the show as a whole. Now as an adult and found these on DVD I bought the whole set and see that I had Saunders all wrong. Now I see him as one kick ass no nonsense cool dude.
