Jobs are lost if a ...

Jobs are lost if a company is doing poorly or if it can be run just as(or more) efficiently without the excess costs. Companies are not in business based soley on altruism. The goals are very simple: Minimize costs, maxamize profits. The obligation is to the shareholders. They own the company.

I disagree with ...

I disagree with some of this video, the environment that stems from the economic mentality condoning business' obligation to share holders rather than to its workers is precisely the reason why jobs are being lost.

@kerryman506 Very funny.

Tax the wealthy at ...

Tax the wealthy at 100% it is unjust that they should have so much wealth concentrated in their hands. Let the government control the means of production and everyone will be wealthier. Free market economics DOES NOT WORK.

@rdwebster RD, ...

@rdwebster RD, good reply to a person who relies on his info from the propaganda network MSNBC (many stories, nothing but communists) and the late night commedians. @FrankiexNYC is a typical opinionated lib who has never thought for himself

And the latest ...

And the latest Gallop, Fox, Bloomberg and Reuters has Obama with a positive approval rating. Though. the more important question, how is Obama doing vs Romney, and the poll of polls for the last 2 week (8 polls) has Obama up by 3.9%. Vs Santorum it is 7.9%. But really, there will be a close race unless there is a big change in the country, though if the unemployment numbers from the last 3 months continue (adding over 200K jobs) I would guess Obama wins, it the trend reverses he loses

As he said, it ...

As he said, it would encourage game playing. That's when a company spends money on lobbyists to get government contracts, rather than compete openly against each other. This means that instead of the best company succeeding, the worst one could succeed, simply because they got a better lobbyist. This could mean less jobs, less wealth created, a poorer quality product, loss of revenue, and another shattered community.

I haven't seen that ...

I haven't seen that poll. I expect things to tighten up, but with the four remaining candidates on the republican side, Obama wins over any of them.

Actually, Obama's ...

Actually, Obama's numbers are dwindling dramatically and a new Rasmussen poll shows Obama losing the general election.

3:00 well it SOUNDS like a good thing. Care to explain why that's a bad thing if the costs of starting businesses would lower with government assistance with money it raised?

-- Most "educated" ...

-- Most "educated" people know that the Democrats have had an iron fist control over Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae from day one of their existance. Other educated folks are so erudite that they never allow the truth to interfere with their belief system and missed the fact that the Bush adminsitration tried at least three times to reign in Freddie and Fannie. Look it up on You Tube. It's the same dynamic with Social Security. The Dems tax it and blame it on the Reps. Get an education!

Guess you have a ...

Guess you have a short memory and forgot how bad off we were back in 2008? Most "educated" people realize that it takes more than 3 years to fix a huge republican mess.

I have a surprise ...

I have a surprise for you. The rest of the country isn't as poorly-informed as you. I don't think the 20% who are unemployed (real figures) are inclined to view this Obama achievement as worthy of a second term. Only the delusional and those joyously looking for the demise of the USA could look forward to a second Obama term. Which are you? PS: I'll ignore private emails that block responses. So don't waste your time on that ploy again. In future, they're not read.

I expect you'll be ...

I expect you'll be cowering in a corner somewhere after the November elections. Obama's great record: Record unemployment. Record deficits. Record downgrading of US credit. Record national debt. Record number of families on food stamps. Record foreclosures. Record late winter gasoline prices. Record corporate cronyism (Solyndra scandal). Record trampling on Constitutional restraints on federal government. Record blaming others (Bush) for his failures. And you think he will win?

Talk to me after ...

Talk to me after the November elections at which time I can show you how wrong you are.

Castro had Khadafi beat by almost a decade.

Dream on. Yes, you ...

Dream on. Yes, you do evidence a strong resistance to reading our Constitution. Probably too much inconvenient truth. Opinion is one thing. Facts are another. And, once again, you prove yourself rather shallow with the silly prediction that the "tea party" will end after November. Unless you know that Obama will steal the election and then plans to use those detention camps to fill up with "belligerents" (i.e., tea party members). Keep deluding yourself. Makes us safer.

Stop the Insanity! ...

Stop the Insanity! Ron Paul for President!

The Tea Party will ...

The Tea Party will be no more after November. They're numbers are down significantly. Oh, and your "opinion" means nothing to me. Have a happy life.
