Only problem i have found with this product is the the Suction cups wont hold in place and the whole arm slides up if you dont take the whole weight of the kayak before ratcheting up great product spoilt by cheap suction cups

NO! Certain disaster would ensue. The kayak and carrier must be postioned in place on top of the vehicle before driving.
