yeah machine ...
yeah machine mechanics that are knowingly willing making them to take human jobs, too bad machines don't have smiles or feelings, like our customers. If machines take the place of people, I would blow everyone of them up... i would get destruction of property charges go to jail and be able to eat and have shelter. Something i couldn't get without a job that was taken by a machine. Crimes will rise because people will get desperate and will have to do what they can eat.

I find it funny ...
I find it funny when people come to Youtube to listen to a song then ask what album its on. They then wait for a response but in that same amount of time they spend waiting for a reply they could just Google it. Not knocking people that do this but I just find it funny that people don't seem to realize this immense library of knowledge this thing called the internet truly has. It does more than Youtube, facebook and Twitter you know. Oh yeah,Amazing song, amazing video, amazing album!

As I recall from my ...
As I recall from my days of Mike Turner obsession (inspired me to learn guitar, even), it was Mike Turner, the original guitarist of Our Lady Peace, who picked up "The Age of Spiritual Machines" by Ray Kurzweil, The band was inspired by the book and all the concepts it brought up, including virtual immortality that might be afforded to human beings with future technology. The man reading at the intro is Ray Kurzweil and I think the voice from 2:38-3:00 is Raine Maida.
the voice in the ...
the voice in the beginning is Ray Kurzweil, author of "The Age of Spiritual Machines", the book after which this album is named. Not sure if that's the same voice at 2:38...
it is Ray Kurzweil, ...
it is Ray Kurzweil, the album shares the same name as his book
i THINK it's Ray ...
i THINK it's Ray Kurzweil (hence the RK in most of the speaking bits), he made lots of future predictions, and he reads some bits from his book. If i'm right the album was inspired by him, but i'd like someone to confirm that too as i could be wrong :)
Ray does the intro ...
Ray does the intro but where the person was talking about it is THE POPE. There was an interview years ago where I think Mike T said that.
