I like the old one better because in my opinion Tarja's voice was best at Oceanborn and Century Child. Just because Tuomas didn't want an opera voice anymore, they made this version. Which ruined the song.

I believe this video refers to the much less known slavic crusades by the hospitaller and tuetonic orders of knights. They brought christianity to areas like slovakia, finland etc and the tribes style of warfare was much the same as vikings. Some tribes did convert out of fear of the brutality the orders initially used, after that the rest were conquered much the same as american Indian tribes fought on both sides of early new world conflicts.
