Sorry for late response, was out of country for work. Try bioschock1 (2 was netter in gameplay but not in story). Otherwise try portal(I pretty much played the sequel in one sitting). That is all immersive game that I can recal this moment.

This isn't Metro 2034. The Metro 2034 book didn't translate into a game well like 2033 did, so the author was brought in to write Last Light instead.
