Charlie Rose - Rachel Weisz & Kathy Bolkovac (07/27/11)
It seems that ...
It seems that Rachel doesn't care about the human trafficking issue besides the "ordinary woman doing extraordinary things" idea. Sad.
This is SUCH AN ...
This is SUCH AN IMPORTANT FILM. Our own troups, including the UN, are involved in kidnapping, sex trafficking and gang rape and there is a massive world wide cover-up. Bolkovac is incredibly brave! This film should receive an Oscar.

wow I just saw this ...
wow I just saw this film and it blew me away. So sad how much evil there is in the world. Through understanding and seeing the suffering in the world may we all develop Compassion in our hearts for all those who suffer in this world and rejoice in those who have the courage to stand up for those who are powerless to stand up for themselves. What an amazing women. I recommend the film but be prepared it is not comfortable watching.
I think she said ...
I think she said that because other were not doing it. There is nothing wrong with what she said. she had the power and authority as a police officer and she used it with ought worrying of the things she has lost. Me and you agree she is one of unselfish people!!
This woman did ...
This woman did something extraordinary!Unfortunately, the human trafficking continues....it`s not Bosnia anymore but it`s Iraq,Afghanistan....which country is next?Unbelievable how humans can be evil!!!
I agree with you. ...
I agree with you. She had to had the heart to put herself on the line for these girls. Her job as a police officer allowed her to do much more than we can but she must search within herself n confess that she had the passion for it or else why lose your job over it? We truly admire what she did, absolutely!! but perhaps we would feel different about it if she said she did it bc she couldn't live with herself if she didn't do anything about it as a **human being.**
It is sad that Mrs ...
It is sad that Mrs. Bolkovac admits that her motivation was just "doing her job." I'm I to think that if it would not had been her job, then she would have not done it??? This is a matter of humanity! NOT A JOB! This is the kind of mentality in our society that must be ERADICATED BY THE ROOTS! We must FIRST be human beings before we can just "play a ROLE." However, THANK YOU MRS. BOLKOVAC!
I've recently saw ...

im sorry girls even ...
im sorry girls even sometimes us guys want our girls to have intelligence as well as beauty ...so hit the books and get that man or woman (it is 2011 after all) of your dreams....by the way Mr. Craig....you're one lucky bastard...
Being human is ...
Being human is everybody's job. Shouldn't be paid for that.
Good point, @ ...
Good point, @mctantrum. People who have a problem with the word "activist" are buying into the definition advanced by the powers against whom action is taken.
Using the power of ...
Using the power of the media to raise awareness of a critical yet under viewed issue. Weisz and Bolkovac have a great message.
