wow, being a mechanic i can appreciate the insane force needed to accomplish this feat. he blew the "mains". just think how much force is needed to separate the crank (what is left in the tractor with the pistons hanging out in space) from the block and heads(what he actually runs over). my guess is they ended up building up massive amounts of blow-by and overpressuring the crankcase. just an educated guess...
