thank you for your comment, no offense taken. Showing Starbucks, Nike and Oshkosh shows how familiar the mall seemed. The Mall of the Emirates didn't seem very different from most of the malls around the world, same stores, same brands, same experiences -- except of course that it has a giant ski hill sticking out of the top of it. I don't think showing that similarity makes anyone look like jerks.

You do not have to ...
You do not have to line up for too long, it takes you about 20 minutes to pay and get everything done like getting the locker and wearing your outfit. Your payment includes the outfit and equipment so you really do not have to worry. Dubai is amazing but I have to be honest as a Dubai citizen I should tell you it could be the hottest place you'll ever live in. Come around December when the weather is amazing

I think its more a novelty in Dubai, but its still looks like great fun. I couldn't even begin to comprend the environmental impact of having such a resort. If you after some serious skiing go somewhere else
