Do you have any idea just how much unused suitable farmland is left unused in the USA? I ask you to please spend some time driving around Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas. Please note the VAST cattle pastures that are currently used to produce beef(or used for nothing at all). In an emergency situation, that land could be converted to grain production in only a growing season. I'm not worried about starvation in the US.
