Kyivs conversion to CHristianity is complex. The Rus were the greatest "Vikings" of all human history. Greater than the fatherlands in Scandinavia. The Orthodox church was much less corrupt. Rus kings were Christian but still held on to pegan morals. Also they were less out of control than Roman Catholics with Dogma, witch burnings, and purging of heathens etc. It was a more relaxed conversion. I do agree that a Christian folk metal band is dumb, but like I said, its complex in the East.
