How high was that?

i wouldnt exactly ...

i wouldnt exactly say darts or snooker train muscles. sorry for being awkward ;)

i didnt deny that ...

i didnt deny that at all. as a matter of fact i agreed with you on that point and said they do share those things in common. just that you can't really say those two sports are the similar based on sharing the same traits ALL other sports share as well. Having been a competitive swimmer for over nine years now along with the VP of my colleges parkour training club and belaying at the local climbing gym as my job, i know quite a bit about the REAL similarities among different sports.

so your denying ...

so your denying that both parkour and climbing train muscles, are a form of exercise and are both done by a human? your point is invalid buddy.

also, read the ...

also, read the comment i posted to the guy you're arguing with. comparing to sports soully on being sports doesnt work, so in that you are very right. but as far as techniques go, one can't honestly say climbing and parkour have no similarities when the act of jumping and grabbing a wall and pushing up on top of it in parkour is exactly the same as dynoing to a hold and mantling on top of it in climbing. one is simply called a cat jump while the other is called a dyno and a mantle

i already posted a ...

i already posted a remark to both of the others involved in this argument, so i may as well point some things out to you as well. The techniques involved and what they're about have many similarities. you also should do some research on parkour. unlike freerunning (because the two are NOT the same), parkour is defined as the art of using movement in the most efficient way possible to cover an obstacle. as defined by its founder David Belle. climbing is often used in parkour to do this

@daniel25001 i'm ...

@daniel25001 i'm sorry friend i'm arguing the same point you are but in regards to what these people meant by their comments on whether these two sports are completely different, your argument was invalid. @ItsDR has a point that just being a sport doesn't make them similar, like comparing cheerleading to these as he put it, but these two sports do have many similarities. you could say cheerleading and gymnastics are very similar, but no cheering and these. however, i agree with you partially

completely untrue. ...

completely untrue. do some research, how parkour started, what it originated as, how its founder David Belle defines it and how he trains, and you'll find that climbing and parkour actually have many similarities. know a little about the two things to make a comparison, know everything about them before assuming they have nothing in common.

Amazing.

Amazing.

your the fucking ...

your the fucking idiot. he said climbing and parkour have nothing in common. i proved him wrong. he didnt bring "techniques and what they are about" into the equation so be quiet.

hes not talking ...

hes not talking about that idiot hes talking about the techniques and what they are about, cheerleading is a form of exercise and trains muscles, would you compare it to this???

Dang, thats awesome ...

Dang, thats awesome, I have never consider crack climbing beyond vertical application, didn't think you could put your whole body weight on it (i probably still can't). <<< Mind Blown

bull, they are both ...

bull, they are both a form of physical exercise, they both train muscles and they have to be done by a human being.
