Jeff Buckley - Forget Her (with lyrics)
Not listened to ...
Not listened to Jeff Buckley for ages and without realising it I restarted listening on the anniversary of his death, I find that quite freaky. :O

He was NOT hit by a boat. get your facts straight!
He Left this song ...
He Left this song off of Grace not because he didn't like it or it sucked, cause it doesn't. He wrote this for his ex lover Rebecca Moore. Jeff thought it was way to personal. I LOVE this song.. So real is good but so is this.

i cant stop listeing to this song!
But I do agree with ...
But I do agree with you too. It's just that the song is about pain and love... so... it's not... as original as Jeff Buckley's usual work. But why not?
I dont know what he ...
I dont know what he means. This song is superb, the emotion and power behind he voice here is amazing. The quality of other songs is irrelevant.
but u still like ...
but u still like this song (i saw it in ur profile)... i hate this song... it pushes me away when i listen to lyrics, im not able, i could burst out crying while listening to that melancolic melody..
I feel you. I have ...
I feel you. I have have the same problem.
i don't think a ...
i don't think a jeff buckley song can suck. it's his voice. he can sing anything and it'll sound profound and achingly beautiful.
I disagree. I can ...
I disagree. I can not put levels on songs like that. I find mojo pin his greatest song but this one tells very much about rejection and as other songs by Jeff gets really close to the feeling itself, like the lyrics and the song just get mixed together. The feeling of rejection is something hard to put in a song without the "trying to escape it by erasing it from your mind" type of cliche if you will, loads of artist tried but he did it. That's all i am saying, he did it.
I Agree he didn't ...
I Agree he didn't write this song for a friend.....he write this song to himself,it's like talking to himself inside him....

This is my favorite song. Everytime I hear it, I can't even explain the things that I feel.

I think this might be my favourite song of Jeff's. Anyone who's been in a similar position before will agree the lyrics & depth of emotion in his voice captures the feel of it perfectly.
the worst song ever ...
the worst song ever... i cant really forget about my love :((((((((( my biggest love ever :( it depresses me so :(
Tastes differ, sky. ...
Tastes differ, sky. I read he held it to be too personal and did not want to make it public for a while.
At least he was ...
At least he was singing about a boy singing about a girl. Unlike most of today's music if you know what I mean.
Forget him...
Forget him...
I believe that the ...
I believe that the simplicity of this song is its key strength. I am a guitarist and I understand what he plays is your basic structure of a song. Still Doesn't take away the fact that this song is just Jeff show casing his ability to be diverse with his application of music. He worked his ass off as a musician. All his work is credible enough to be on any of his albums... why? seems to be the argument.. coz he made the music! I respect any decisions made on his albums. As long as I hear him
I agree about it ...
I agree about it not being included on Grace. I always thought this song was musically simple and straightforward enough that it wouldn't really do justice to the complexity of his approach as a composer, at least on a debut album which in part was meant to showcase his abilities (at least that's what I think he wanted). I like the song, but it belongs as bonus disc material.
I understand your ...
I understand your point of view, and could agree, but Forget Her is not THAT cliche. I mean, yeah, a little, and I think that's also why Jeff himself didn't like Forget Her, but you know, when you need to forget a girl/boy you really loved... this music is perfect ! Anyway, I also think that the words he uses are strong and deep meaning, not like in today's commercial music... But again I know what you mean. So Real is a masterpiece, I agree. But so are his other songs.
