I don't get some ...
I don't get some girls and using every kind of brush out there. I get the what i need, eyeshadow brush, eyeliner brush, blush brush (which also works perfectly for bronzer >.>), and a foundation brush (though i never really use it)... Done, at the end my make-up lasts just as long, and looks just as good as the rest of the girls out there. Also It doesn't matter, cause chances are you're the only one who notices every little detail of your makeup ahaha. (Use simple brushes as multiple uses)

i've had my MAC brushes for over 3 years now and they are still in very good shape. They are really worth the price.

MAC is a great ...
MAC is a great brand, and an industry standard. But there are tons of choices out there, just aim for quality (which isn't always going to be the most expensive.) If it's comfortable, and gets the job done, go for it. :)

i bought MAC 187 ...
i bought MAC 187 for $68 and i used it to apply liquid foundation but now i've been using sigma f80 to apply Liquid foundation and MAC 187 for powder application. i do kind of regret spending too much on a brush but i'm sure it's gonna last me a long long time...

Do you make sure all the brushes you use on clients are MAC ones, or do you not think that is important for a professional? Do you simply use whatever gets the job done? Just wondering what's expected out in the real world. thanks, look forward to your answer.

I have found that the ELF studio brushes are quite nice for the money. Even a few of the essential ones are nice, and they are only a dollar. :P I have had a few of mine for months with no fallout.
