Well... As a few people have pointed out, the company that build this was American. Most of the downtown Dubai is built by Samsung. The money that buys all of it is either from oil or investments... I really don't want to offend anybody, but with the money these countries have, they should concentrate more on social and scientific development, not on splendor and buying technology from others while criticizing their way of life.
