The Office Values - Microsoft UK Training with David Brent 1
Feel like I'm being ...
Feel like I'm being sucked into this US-UK argument. Oh well... I actually LOVE both series. I watched the UK version first and the US version second. Both are great shows. Yes, I know that the UK version can be dull. Yes, I understand that the US version has much less subtlety than the UK version. Both, however, are brilliant. Of course, there will only ever be one David Brent.
The laughter ...
The laughter doesn't come from jokes, it comes from the situation and EVERYTHING. I can watch similar shows (Parks And Recreation, Community etc) tens of times and still find new shit to laugh at and have not understood references which the whole episode are built around. And yee...The Office is a mad concept FULL of goodness like many other shows. I just have excessive respect for the cunts. So should other cunts and that's all, cya cunts.
The only ...
The only significant differences are the production quality, it being in America and it having to appeal to Americans and their sense of humour. The majority of Americans watch simple, ignorant shows for an easy laugh.. like The Simpsons, Seinfeld, 2 And A Half Men etc....laugh tracks make me want to die. But yeah the changes to suit the American audience were mild as fuck..
Excluding series 8, ...
Excluding series 8, how is the US version bad? And more importantly, how are any of those American shows better then The Office US? It's almost exactly the same as the UK version. The first 2 seasons were pretty much copy and pasted, the concept is still the same, characters are similar (There's like no difference David Brent and Michael Scott....Ricky Gervais would have definitely given Steve Carell a fuck load of tips for the character because they often use the EXACT same facial expressions

Both Office's are great. Also Ricky and Steven are executive producers of the office USA and the office usa is based on the office uk. So shut up

Anything in 240p can make it happen AKA for you!
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah ...
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah but the UK version is better innit.
The UK one is ...
The UK one is unashamedly principled to being an Office documentary. The US version is like every other mundane US comedy show; it panders to the US audience and is largely slapstick (but brilliant at times) but ultimately amateur in comparison as a show. Also it is truely awful now. There would be an outcry if the current US Office (Season 8) was airing on British Television as a UK show. It's beyond embarrassing.
@Swansoni333 i am ...
@Swansoni333 i am an american, and i prefer the US version. The UK one is hilarious, but the US one is just more in tune with AMERICAN pop culture, which makes it more relevant and better in my opinion. Please do not speak for all of America when u say we all like the UK version better.

I like both shows and I don't want to get into some nationalist argument, but they're executive producers, which basically just means giant pay-day. They have written an episode of the American version though
