A lot of pain and hard work and strength. It took me 4 months to be able to do that without pain. If you're a contemporary dancer, its worth learning :)

@lottpott7 it doesn't matter if your big or small or large or tiny. If you want to take a class then take one just because your "too large" doesn't mean you can't dance beautifully. I know a girl who is bigger than other girls in her dance class but I personally think she is the best out of all of them. So if you want to take a class go for it. :) and BTW this video is what inspired me to become a dancer!!!! It is so beautiful!
