This tutorial is terrible ... you dont go over where to get the filter ... you dont really tell people how to use it or install it .... you dont go over key commands so i know what to press after i finish hitting the dots :/ like .... why bother making a youtube video if half the video is you just throwing down dots and not telling you how to operate the program.

This plug-in only works on 32bit versions of Photoshop. The filter will be listed in the filter tab assuming you downloaded the plug-in in the right folder. Searching the web will give you several places of detailed instruction on how to use FFT through Photoshop.

FFT stands for Fast ...
FFT stands for Fast Fourier Transform. It 'Transforms' an image from the spatial to the frequency domain. The 'stars' that you see, represents a dominant frequency. The further away the stars are from the center the higher the frequency. FFT is an engineering topic. If you are an artist it's better to stick to the theory of the stars. But yes, this is best way you can get rid of repetitive patterns like seen in this vid. Search for FFT on google and you will get tons of info on it. HTH - Sid

FFT Filter is not part of photoshop you have to download the FFT Filter from internet and install it in your adobe plugins folder.

Sorry this may seem like a ridiculous quesion but if I where to have the fft filter would it be in the filter menu as a main heading...you mentioned in your video you have it set up as a action bar...I'm currently working on a picture that can use this filter. Thanks
