@frogdiver45 Can I ...
@frogdiver45 Can I answer this one for you, All wood is an insulater, what helps even more is what you use as a finish on the inside, I use Envirotex Lite on mine and make sure it is pretty thick coating, I drink cold and hot out of my mugs and it keeps pretty cold and hot.
Nice little Cognac ...
Nice little Cognac glass, But can I give you a couple sugestions? Lose those gloves, Do not where that type of jacket with the long sleaves, lose the watch and any other jewlrey! All can get caught up and injure you very badly. Safety is #1 so you can make that next piece! I wear a tear away glove with no fingers on my left hand it is much safer, if it gets caught the glove will rip of and not bind. I hate the chips hitting me in my hand, sometime it hurts pretty bad! Keep on turning!
thank you

G,day!! Older post ...
G,day!! Older post but if your lathe still has to be started by hand you need to change the capacitor on the top of the motor hidden under the small metal casing. Easy job. These are classed as start run capacitors and do pack up. nice turning. I am not quite outdoors but with both doors I face the street so have full view of the world as the day goes by. Thanks for the post!
