What the hell? So only one person is allowed to use a certain art style or we just have to wait until Yamashita is dead? It's commercial art, while originality is appreciated, no one cares as long as they like what they see. It's not like they're copying an exact piece of art she created.

@Mannazify Yes I agree there is no ownership over the use of light and shadow done in creative ways. But in this case I just think that the format presented clearly references a body of work by one person over the span of almost 2 decades. Doesn't that at least deserve some credit? The fact that the name Kumi Yamashita isn't a household name isn't enough of a reason in call it your own and sell beer with it. It's an integrity issue not a creative one.
