To watch this movie, you have to let go of the actual history of the Bolshevik Revolution and Anastasia. It's extremely historically inaccurate, and it HAS to be in order to be a kids movie. Enjoy the beautiful songs and morals in this movie instead. :)

this wasn't disney. it was Don Bluth. great in the 80s when disney sucked, and then the 90s happened and disney/pixar dominated the earth. this was dont bluth throwing in the towel, and while it was regarded as one of his better movies this was the last we would see of him for a long long time.
