He's been on Jap factory bikes all but for a little over one season as well. Casey's been on a competitive Ducati for one year. I could pick flaws in both their careers, as good as they are. The fact is, they're both champions. I just prefer watching Casey's exhilarating style.

this is true, the numbers favor Stoner over this time period. but that's not exactly and apple to apples comparison since your comparing all of Stoners premier career versus the second half of Rossis. those numbers ignore the first 6 years of Rossis premier class career. a period with 53 wins, 81 podiums and 5 championships. at the end of this season, compare Stoners entire premeir career and the first 7 of rossis, then you'll see your landslide.

And Rossi comes straight back at the corkscrew. We haven't seen action like this...and Rossi runs off track and pushes Stoner wide. What amazing stuff here, Valentino Rossi!
