Incorrect. Many soldiers, even after experiencing traumatic events, stay in the military despite what happened to them. One of my friend suffers from it and even though I know he's depressed and struggling to recount with one certain incident, he doesn't regret serving in the military and he's ready to be deployed if he has to (He's in the reserves now). You're thinking on one side of the spectrum. You may not like the military but someone has to do the job.
