Part 2! People ...
Part 2! People confuse a big swell with a storm. A storm is wind force. A swell often comes from 500 miles away 2 days ago and may be windless. Few people have experienced F10+. The seas flatten as the wind just wipes out the wavetops. We get easier motion with a long swell but no visibility and no electronics. Just flying water and no rest as your body is racked endlessly by the sound of the screaming wind. It doesn't just hit your hearing but seems to penetrate your innermost core.

I liked the modesty of thyztwizta. Many seamen in the offshore or mid/distant water fishing industries face 'heavy weather' every day, and sometimes real storms without much comment. North Sea is a shit. Irish Sea can be worse with its shallow waters, 11m tides and strong currents. Real 10+ storms don't give any conditions for filming unless on the bridge of a large vessel or on vessels especially prepared such as the Volvo sailing team. Most of these 'Perfect Storm' videos are a scam!
