five stars for this movie! I was agreeably surprised by the acting performance of James Purefoy who managed to put Blackbeard in a better light than many descriptions about him. I regret though that Purefoy's co actor, Mark Noble got credited so little for his character of Israel Hands. It was selling his preformance too short, for he was absolutely great!!
