Question for you... ...
Question for you...what technique to you like to use to take existing wood and take it to the darker finishes. For example, the staircase and the kitchen cabinets. Also, I noticed you did this with the condo redo for the surgeon. Do you completely sand down and re-stain, or do you use more of a overlay or faux? You really woke this home up with beautiful design!

Hi @Channey2010, I appreciate your very nice compliments. To answer your question, it's something I came up with in order to save money on hardware. As much money as we spend on the homes we design, it seems we are always trying to stretch the buck. Panels are sewn, then stapled to boards and hung on L-brackets affixed to the wall. The trick is to have a good return on the ends so you cant see the brackets ;-) Hope that helps ... Thanks, RR

I can answer that for you chupis21. My channel features real clients homes. These people were not chosen for a free remodel. They paid for it 100%. Thats why it looks like rich people are getting these things. While they are not "Rich" by their standards, they are hardworking people who deserve to spend their money any way they wish. They are kind enough to let me post videos of their homes which allows me to teach you and others ideas and tips on improving your own personal space. RR
