I hear you..... ...
I hear you..... downright shame indeed...
yeah but how many ...
yeah but how many people drive mopeds in Europe, not to mention in some cities is downright dangerous and police always piss you off that the moped/motorcycle is too loud even when you don't show off and are just taking the piss out of you when they get the chance, even if you do nothing wrong.
16 is the age for ...
16 is the age for alcohol in most european countries, (18 for liquors), and you are allowed to get some sort of "light" license at the age of 16 aswell, like a moped (age 12 for farmers on a tractor)
ha, yea. they ...
ha, yea. they enforce the 21 y.o. drinking age pretty hard here. doesn't stop me! lol

i quite like gentlemans relish lmao
that's how ...
that's how unfortunately the rest of the world works, no driving license until 18, but on the bright side here in Europe alcohol consumption age is also 18, but they let you off if you're like 15 1/2 or so.

0:01 Clarkson's evil laugh :-) Clarkson for next Bond villain.
wow, that's insane. ...
wow, that's insane. Me being 16, personally love the driving age here. I think it was about 300-400 USD for the driving school. We also have GDL's which prohibit you from driving between 12 AM - 5 AM, and you are also only allowed to have 1 person in the car that is not an immediate family member, but you can have as many family members as you like. (I find this to be really idiotic) this is for the first 9 months you have your license . I get mine off in two months. GL with your test btw.
that is in US and ...
that is in US and Canada in he most fortunate case, in the rest of the world the minimum driving age, excluding the temporary one that you get when you're 17 and 8-9 months, is 18. And the legislation is different here, you get hauled if you drive a manual car and on your license it states automatic, since you put in danger other traffic participants by not being instructed formally to use it. But here, in UAE, the downside is that driving school is $1000, and I'm not bullshitting.
i have to take ...
i have to take another course for manual? wow. here in the states, you turn 15 1/2, you get your temp license, then you turn 16 and get your full license. auto and manual included
I hate how the top ...
I hate how the top gear channel posts like edited down clips of the original. you miss a lot with these.
obviously you own ...
obviously you own none or drove none of those. the very first models of the e36 had the late e30 engine and are heavier then the e30 therefore slower. plus the e30 is incredibly more fun to drive compared to the safer and more stable e36 or e46. it takes more balls then any of the others to drive
The e36 that ...
The e36 that replaced the e30 is much better looking and faster

in my zone (abu ...
in my zone (abu dhabi, UAE) you can find many 1980's and 1990's BMW's which still run good and most have been taken care of. There are quite a few Baur Cabrios here (one which I found at a used car dealership for around 1000 quid. I'll be turning 18 and probably if luck is on my side I'll pass the manual gear school and buy it.
