His .4 second shot ...
His .4 second shot is my favorite shot of all time. And I'm not a Laker or a Fisher fan!
OMG!!!!
OMG!!!!

.....yeah. yeah he would.
this has nothin to ...
this has nothin to do with it but fisher will have his 6th ring if the thunder wins the championship
he is the all time ...
he is the all time 3 point shooter in finals history
yeah definitely ...
yeah definitely thats why i said assuming the game was close in the 4th. the lakers were a team that through shaq and through team work could run the game and win without needing clutch performances like buzzer beaters and shit. shaq has a fg % of idk off the top of my head but i think like 55% so he was very consistent. but i do think his constant letdowns with the orlando magic made him scrap that much harder when he went to the lakers.
But Shaq dominated ...
But Shaq dominated and scared opponents from beginning to end. Kobe was a 4th-quarter guy, but Shaq's been more consistent. You said the Kobe failed over and over and that's how he became an incredible clutch player, which I agree on. But Shaq didn't need to fail to get better under pressure. All Shaq had to do is to stay dominant and consistent through out all 4 quarters. I can understand the 1-2 punch logic also, but Shaq was more dominant compared to Kobe. Kobe even said he was the sidekick.
i can agree with ...
i can agree with that except where you said kobe didnt scare teams. kobe was the 4th quarter guy more so than shaq. that is, assuming that the game was close in the 4th. kobe did fail over and over and he lost that fear of performing under pressure because of it to become known as an incredible closer then and now. shaq definitely was the leader no question but the reason they were the 1-2 punch is because if one man couldnt get the job done, they just had to find one another on the floor
They still had Glen ...
They still had Glen Rice, Ron Harper, D-Fish, Tyronn Lue, Horry, Fox, George, Isiah Rider, Horace Grant. Even Samaki Walker and Mitch Richmond. That cast of role players are strong enough to stabilize teams. I'ma take back what I said about Shaq not needing Kobe, because he did. But it was still Shaq's team. Kobe was the sidekick. Many spectators who watch the game at the time would say that Shaq was the leader. Kobe provided help and took pressure off of Shaq, but Shaq scared teams, Kobe didn't
no he needed kobe. ...
no he needed kobe. he needed kobe. it wasnt superman and his sidekick it was the 1-2 punch. shaq wouldnt have done it with derek fisher and robert horry im just not buying that. they stopped playing as a team eventually and wanted to be stars (not that you didnt know that) and even when they took gary payton and karl malone the team was just very out of wack due to that and payton not being able to understand phils triangle play
Shaq lead a young ...
Shaq lead a young Magic team to the NBA Finals, yes he still had a team. The thing is, Kobe was always the sidekick. During the 3 peat. Exactly why he was never MVP until AFTER Shaq left. During MJ's reign, he had Pippin, but they were never Hero-Sidekick. It was a tandem, stacked team. Shaq was Superman, and Kobe was the sidekick. Shaq was Superman and Penny Hardaway was the sidekick too. I didn't say Shaq can do it all alone, but with the cast of players the Lakers had, he didn't need Kobe.
i dont recall shaq ...
i dont recall shaq winning anything before kobe. its a team sport bottom line. michael never won anything without his team either. wilt never won without his team. bill russell never won without his team. magic, kareem, wade, duncan, bird never won without their team. even the other 2 championships that kobe has, he needed his team before he got them and so what? thats how this sport works.
get the hell out of ...
get the hell out of here. you're clearly not a basketball fan if you hate this guy, hes humble and a good all around player
i respect this guy ...
i respect this guy more than most of the superstars. completely not selfish, great passer and defender, plus always reliable in dire situations. this guy is a dream player for a coach. fisher is flying under the radar, but lakers would have had a lot of problems to get those rings without fisher.
