Such a boring band live. Too slow and since we were sitting it was excruciating, also the lead singer was telling people to be quiet and was refusing to play any of the "up" songs. why charge 17 bucks if your gonna pull a stunt like that. People want something that gets them dancing, not something that you could fall asleep to. This isn't fucking naptime in preschool. i don't need anymore of this sappy shit. Some people have complained about Islands' "new" sound, but I have to say that I my favorite musicians are the ones brave enough to experiment with different styles/sounds. Many musicians are content with being derivative and unadventurous, but Nick T. has never been such. I respect him and his music. Plus, I like the feel of this new record....and just it came just in time for V-day. X^D
