the amg sound is great, but this is just another toy like the tesla however more luxurious. i love the big v8's but for a gran tourer, the electric drive is great. smooth, easy to drive while still being enclosed in a beautiful car that provides instant thrill with the easiest touch of the pedal. if you want noise, go with a different amg. save yourself some money and get the same performance. the sls is a showcase for what the company can do. without mclaren...
