You ever try ...
You ever try studying to Animal Collective? For me, it works. It doesn't intrude, and it creates this positive atmosphere. Their songwriting doesn't try to grab you like pop music. It's like they create musical landscapes, as opposed to pop music's portraits of people. It's not about what you hear them telling you, it's about what you see them showing you, and how that makes you feel. I'm getting very abstract, so I'll just say Animal Collective makes great music for working and creating.
